Studies
These are small, one-of-a-kind paintings created as part of my ongoing practice. Most are acrylic on paper, painted quickly and intuitively exploring light, atmosphere and fleeting moments of observation.
My subjects include the leafy landscapes of Surrey, beautiful beaches from West Sussex, Devon and beyond and quiet moments of being human. I don’t tend to make prints of these so they are truly unique. Works on paper come in an off-white mount and are kept at an affordable price so everyone can have an original Sonya Vine in their life. Additional studies are held in the studio and rotated every few months so keep coming back until you find one you love (then come back again). Small is beautiful.
