A busy Saturday on a high street (Chiswick High Road to be precise).  One day this will be a nostalgic painting of times past, before we all stayed in and shopped.  I loved the normal everydayness of people shopping and yet how beautiful they all looked in silhouette, the odd dots of light and the shadows casting the scene in an atmospheric vignette.

This is an original Sonya Vine painting, oil on canvas, 16" x  20".  Signed by the artist on the front and signed and dated on the back.  No need to frame as it is on stretched canvas (1.5" deep) and can hang on the wall as it is.
