Fresh Air

If you're local to Haslemere you will be very familiar with the Devil's Punchbowl.  Contrary to its name, it is a beautiful area full of light and views that go on for miles.  While it used to have the A3 running through it with many lanes of traffic, it is now a wondrous space where fresh air is abundant (the traffic now in a tunnel beneath).  I wanted to paint the silhouettes here in a lighter colour to get that feeling of brightness all around.  

This is an original Sonya Vine painting, oil on canvas, 30" x  40".  Signed by the artist on the front and signed and dated on the back.  No need to frame as it is on stretched canvas (1.5" deep) and can hang on the wall as it is.
