The Rain, the Rain

Inspired by a suddenly rainy Southbank one summer afternoon - few were prepared for it, hence the running!  This painting has gone through a few versions, the figure on the left used to have an umbrella but I think she's more interesting now, not rushing, so lost in her thoughts that the rain doesn't bother her.

This is an original Sonya Vine painting, oil on canvas, 36" x  48".  Signed and dated (2007) on the front and back.
