Distant Voices

This was painted plein air in beautiful Frensham where the trees tower over you with the sun filtering through. I was one of the hottest days so few people were outside but there were a few distant voices punctuating the silence.  It was very peaceful and I loved this area where the path rises up full of dappled light.  I used a limited palette of burnt sienna, yellow, black and white.

This is an original Sonya Vine painting, acrylic on paper, 5"x5".  Signed and dated by the artist on the back, and signed in pencil on one corner on the front. 

It comes in an off-white mount that will fit an 8" x 8" frame - please note that the frame is not included so you are able to choose a frame that is perfect for your decor.
