Granny's Day Out

I spotted this lovely old lady at Newlands Corner in Surrey, enjoying the sunshine and surrounded by warm colour. I imagine the person she was with had gone to buy her a cup of tea, leaving her to take in the view.  I wanted to capture the nostalgia that older people can bring to a scene.

This is an original Sonya Vine painting, oil on board, 10"x12".   Signed and dated by the artist on the back, and signed on one corner on the front.  Please note frame is not included.
