Memento

I was drawn to the contrast between the bright winter sun and the stillness of the icy pond. The two boys are absorbed in a small, instinctive moment of curiosity, one reaching toward the water without hesitation. I wanted the reflections and shadows to hold that sense of quiet attention, where light, cold, and childhood wonder briefly meet.

This is an original Sonya Vine painting, oil on board, 20" x 16".  Signed by the artist on the front and signed and dated on the back.  This comes in a white wooden floater frame so it is ready to hang.
