Once in Darkness

Inspired by the trees just as the sun begins to reach the tops of the trees. Light filters in softly, while the forest below remains cool, quiet, and still. The contrast between shadow and glow captures a calm, in-between moment—when the day is starting to reveal itself, but the night hasn’t fully let go. I like how it echos our lives, if you're in darkness knowing the sun will shine again.

This is an original Sonya Vine painting, oil on board, 20" x 16".  Signed by the artist on the front and signed and dated on the back.  This comes in a white wooden floater frame so it is ready to hang.
