Shadows in Transit

I spotted this group in the distance while on holiday as they moved through bright sunlight and the light threw long, sharp shadows that almost became figures themselves. I wanted to keep the brushstrokes loose and suggestive, letting light, movement and heat do the work rather than describing every detail and it was a joy to paint!

This is an original Sonya Vine painting, acrylic on board, 5" x 7".  Signed and dated by the artist on the back.  This is unframed.
