Where the Light Falls

Two purposeful figures mid-stride, silhouetted against an indistinct street washed in warm, reflective light.  I love it when light softens the world and makes the familiar feel quietly significant.  The visible texture is the result of painting over a previous work, allowing earlier layers to inform the final surface.

This is an original Sonya Vine painting, oil on canvas, 6" x 6".  Signed by the artist on the front and signed and dated on the back.  This is unframed but on stretched canvas (0.5" deep) and can hang on the wall as it is.
